Holistic Hound Fundamentals Healthy Heart is a blend of herbs has been specifically formulated to provide targeted support for dogs in cardiac distress. The herbs selected work to optimise cardiac input, enhance vascular performance, reduce oedema (fluid retention) and minimise oxidative stress within the body.
Just like humans, Heart health is a growing concern with many dogs. It is particularly of concern in breeds predisposed to heart disease or weakness, and dogs lacking in crucial dietary nutrients and leading a more sedentary lifestyle and are overweight as a result.
The heart is very important. Damaged heart valves and dilated cardiomyopathy are the two most common causes of heart disease. But no matter the cause, the underlying issue is a degradation of the cardiovascular system’s ability to pump blood effectively. The body reacts to a decrease in cardiac output by increasing heart rate and cardiac contractibility, constricting vessels, and retaining fluids and increasing blood pressure. While these mechanisms are life-saving in the short term, if they become prolonged, they produce undue stress for the heart muscle. Unchecked, conditions that affect the function of the heart may ultimately lead to complete or congestive heart failure.
Give orally twice a day. 1 capful equates to 1ml
Dogs Under 10kg: 0.5 – 1ml
10kg to 20kg: 2.0ml
Over 20kg: 2.5ml
Not suitable for pregnant or lactating bitches; or puppies under 12 weeks.

Orders placed after 10am on Thursday’s will be dispatched on the following Monday.
Bank holiday orders will be dispatched on the next working day.
You should allow at least 48 hrs for delivery and be aware that couriers will deliver between the hours of 8am and 6pm (this could be even earlier and later during busy periods). We cannot replace or refund any orders which have been refused or been delivered within 48 hours.
Check the Temperature: Upon arrival, ensure the raw pet food is still cold to the touch or partially frozen. If it feels warm, don’t refreeze it. Provided the food is still cold to the touch, at 4°C or below, you can safely refreeze and use as normal.
Quality Check: Look for any unusual smell, discoloration, or signs of spoilage. If anything seems off, discard the food.
Please note we do not receive any compensation from couriers for late deliveries or damages due to the nature of the product. Any replacements are sent at our expense.

Your delicious meals are shipped frozen. Our insulated boxes are designed to keep your food cold during transit. They stay cold for 48 hours so there’s no need to be at home for delivery. That means if your box is left in a safe place or with a neighbour, you can just pop the food into the fridge or freezer when you get home.
At times our frozen meals defrost slightly whilst on their way to you, however this is expected especially in warmer weather, provided the food is still cold it is completely safe to pop them into the freezer to refreeze. We’ve done lots of testing on this, and we’d never suggest something we weren’t comfortable doing ourselves.
Some Highlands and Islands postcodes may take a while longer for delivery. If you live in one of these harder to reach areas call us to find out more 02829540569.
