Kelp, at least true kelp, is the stuff that grows in big forests under the sea (you always see seals and fish swimming through these tree-like plants reaching upwards. We say true kelp as folk seem to think there is only one seaweed under the ocean! True kelp is called Laminaria. Kelp for dogs is not only deeply nutritious, containing a whole array of easy-to-absorb vitamins and minerals, but also as it choc-full of unique bioactive compounds, such as fucoidans, that stem from its rough way of life. Kelp grows in a very hostile environment with regular changes in salinity, temperature, water to air, things nibbling you and not to mention being battered daily by rocks. It has thus evolved a variety of antioxidative and anti-inflammatory compounds, many of which are only found in plants beneath the saves. We can consume these and reap serious benefits.

StoolRite is a finely ground, green powder. There is a 2g scoop included. Your dog needs around 2g per 10kg of dog. You sprinkle it on their food (and yes, the vast majority like the taste. In fact, because it works so well, don’t underestimate your dogs’ ability to know what’s good for them. Still, you might build to the required dose slowly over a few meals and mix it well into their food!).

Check the Temperature: Upon arrival, ensure the raw pet food is still cold to the touch or partially frozen. If it feels warm, don’t refreeze it. Provided the food is still cold to the touch, at 4°C or below, you can safely refreeze and use as normal.
Quality Check: Look for any unusual smell, discoloration, or signs of spoilage. If anything seems off, discard the food.

Your delicious meals are shipped frozen. Our insulated boxes are designed to keep your food cold during transit. They stay cold for 48 hours so there’s no need to be at home for delivery. That means if your box is left in a safe place or with a neighbour, you can just pop the food into the fridge or freezer when you get home.
At times our frozen meals defrost slightly whilst on their way to you, however this is expected especially in warmer weather, provided the food is still cold it is completely safe to pop them into the freezer to refreeze. We’ve done lots of testing on this, and we’d never suggest something we weren’t comfortable doing ourselves.
